CorksCru Wine Society

Welcome to the web site of the CorksCru Wine Society.

Drawing its members from the Blackpool and the Fylde Coast areas the society was formed, in 1985, to further the knowledge of wine by its members and to promote the appreciation of wine within the general public.

We meet every month to sample wines on a designated theme - wines from a particular region or made from a particular grape variety, for instance - and to learn about how they are produced, the characteristics of the wines and to assess both their quality and our members their satisfaction.

A society newsletter, Vitis, is produced occasionally which gives more in-depth information about technical aspects of wine production, developments in the wine industry, interesting new wines etc.

We meet on the second Monday of every month at the River Wyre Hotel (see Venue page for details) starting at 8.00pm, welcoming guests to our meetings, and like-minded enthusiasts to join us. Please browse the web site for further information.
